I just discovered this, excuse me if this is common knowledge. If you are writing a post and the word gets underlined, it is misspelled, that I knew.
What I didn't know is all you have to do is, right click over the word, and it will give you suggestions for the correct spelling. Then just click the spelling you want and it will change it for you.
I didn't know that, so I thought I'd share.

I use firefox as my browser. Maybe it's a firefox thing. Your mouse must have a r & l button for this to work. I don't know if it will do it on a mac or on netscape. Here's another spell checking trick. If you don't know how to spell a work, key it into google. If it's wrong, google will say "did you mean...." up at the top of the page, and give you a correct spelling.

Leveta: it's the right click button on your mouse. Not all of them have one.

For all of you who don't have a mouse with a right click:
Just left click anywhere in the word in question, hold down "shift" and press "F10". That'll give you the same box with suggestions from which to chose.
