Haven't posted in since I introduced myself a couple of weeks ago. I have been very busy at school. I just wanted to share my pink pumpkin pic and few more things I have done. The black wagon (which got chewed on by the dogs before I was able to paint) has hot pink flames and a little bling. This is my Canton wagon for my upcoming trip at the end of this month. The pink pumpkin is in honor of my MIL a breast cancer survivor. I was inspired by a gourd I saw on here painted like candy corn. Please let me know if who painted it so that I may give credit for the inspiration. The bench was made by my husband for my treasure store and it sold the first day!! Thanks for all your great ideas and sharing!!

Wow I love all your stuff, that candy corn pumpkin is too cute! And the pink one is awesome with it's message.Your hubby did a great job on the bench, I can see why it sold so quickly. I'd be proud to haul that wagon around, you should be too.

Thanks for all your sweet comments! I did not prime the pumpkin, I just sponged on some craft paint. I considered spray paint which I think might have worked a little better. I bought the hope sign for $1 in the Christmas ornaments at the Dollar General. Next year I am going to have a "pink" party to raise money for the cause and I thought I would use the pink pumpkin idea for that also. (Gotta hit the DG store to buy some more hope signs.)
momlvcntrt I saw the skull!! Yes it would be very cool!
Just wanted to add I am so excited that I have found people who actually "get" my love of junk!!lol

I love that pink pumpkin. I tried to spray paint some pumpkins white last year but didn't have much luck. I'll have to try again.

It is always great to buy from a local grower, BUT...If you need cheap pumpkins, Aldi is selling quite large ones for $1.99. Don't wait til the end of the day, or they will be gone.

Love, love, love the pink pumpkin! I have a friend about to have a mastectomy who I'd love to have one like it.
