  1. has anyone made these? they're new to me, but awesome ! I made 4 already using a glue gun instead of needle and thread, and plans for more tomorrow. Use to embellish a headband,lapel,purse,shoes.......all kinds of things.

  13. I just made one for a Button Jewelery swap. It is a brooch but could be adapted, I did a google search like Margo said before I decided what to make for the swap. I got a bunch of zippers with metal teeth at a yard sale this summer. I just blogged about the swap. www.junkinjane.blogspot.com

  26. I did it! I really like the zipper flowers. I just had to try some. I used orange, yellow and purple for flowers and bright green for leaves. Then I sewed them to a jeans bag. I attempted to load the pictures but I'm not getting it right.

  27. I parted with my zipper flower bag already - had a wedding shower so I put my gift in it. The bride kept looking and looking and smiling I'm not sure she figured out what it was made of. She said she loved it and it was her colors too. Now I just HAVE to make another one. No telling where it will land...
