I don't know what I'm more impressed with, the great bird bath/feeders or how uncluttered your your basement is!

Whoa! What a treasure trove of beautiful feeders! Love the different hues and styles of glass. It looks as if you are preparing for a fall show! Great work! Oh, I too am amazed at your clean basement!

Okay, now that you have all these made up and I must add you did an awesome job.. each one is so dirrerent than the next and all loook just great... What are you going to do with them all.. do you sell them? and if so may I ask (and you can tell me it is none of my business) what do you charge for them.. a round about number.. and I also am just amazed by how nice and neat and clean your basement is.. Wow.. if I could get into mine which I can't because construction son has all his tools and materials down there.. plue two of the three Garden sheds.. LOL I still would not have a basement looking that neat.. I am very impressed.. keep up the good work..

I posted this on another related topic, but I would like to see some of them dressed up for Christmas, piled withglass balls, and wrapped and draped with beaded strings

Ladies the other side of the room has an ironing board, trunk, sewing machine!! It's a large room. The big box they are on is full of blankets, pillows ect! We won't talk about the other two rooms with junk in them!!!
Yes I'm going to try to sell them. I've sold several already this summer. I want to do the spring fling here. I've sold them on Craigslist! I ask $35.00 for them. Everyone says I'm to cheap but you know in these hard times I'd like for someone to be able to afford them and enjoy them.
I"m going to make a red and green one (if I can find the glass) red's really hard to find.for my Christmas things! Thanks for the idea Tricia.
Thanks for all your comments! YOu ladies are awesome!!Posted 11 months ago # -
i'm not sure, so this is in question form for all the totem ladies???
since red is hard to find in glass what do you think of mixing some heavy plastic pieces in red/green, etc into the glass mix? hold or not sturdy enough?
also....i think santa, elves, sleigh, snowmen, etc would be cute under glass in those, for christmas time.

gigi, I would be afraid the plastic would crack.. weather does something to plastic that it does not do to glass. plus the glue may not be good for the plastic.. but what the heck you can try one and see what happens.. do you have a candel or glass outlet type place near you.. we have one or two and I thought about checking to see what they had.. they usually have some glass items that a person could use for a totem, but not for the house , if you know what I mean they may be kind of weird for the house or something a person would only use once or twice.. but that would look neat mixed in with a totem.. I will let you know if I get to any of the shops.. Gigi, do you have any Goodwill shops or thrift stores, of
they sometimes have some different glass vases and candy dishes , etc. also check yard sales and do not be afraid to ask any of your friends if they have any old vases they want to get rid of.. I can remember times when I wanted to get rid of all the old vases I had..now I wish I had them back..LOL our sources are endless.Posted 11 months ago # -
i just love them sooo much they are beautiful

do you think that you could use that Rodgers stain to color the glass to what you like?? it works on all non-porous?
i'm just trying to throw out some ideas to save money and allow you to make the totems the colors/way you want??

I'm to lazy to paint them. I've thought aobut the gallery glass too. But I'll let someone else expermint with that. I'll wait till I find the right vases.. Thanks for the idea tho.
