I haven't tried to sell any for a while. I did pretty good this summer tho. I've got to quit making them pretty soon!

  7. I was in a craft show two weeks ago and there was a gal that had a whole booth of those dandy totems. They seemed to be selling well. I didn't talk with her, but I saw quite a few go by my space near the parking lot. I think she was getting about $35+ for hers.

One other questions about selling the totems.. how do you ever transport them to and from the Shows.. and how do the customers take them home.. do you have something like bubble wrap for them or ??????

I can imagine these used as a Christmas Decoration, piled with glass bulbs, draped in bead strings, somehow a light added...candles might be a little risky.

I've had my customers take them home different ways. One lady seat belted hers in. a guy laid his down in the back of his Corvette!!I've sent them home in boxes stuffed with platic bags.
I'm glad to hear she was selling them.
I'm not sure how I will transport them when we go to the sale but we'll figure something out.
    Thanks for the Christmas idea!

Have you considered making three tiered totems for table decorations, designed to add flowers and greenery/leaves, candle on the tiers for table centerpieces? I have also seen that cupcakes are often decorated and displayed on tiered servers on table buffets. I would think if you displayed some made for different purposes, you would do well.

I use GEII silicone for doors and windows clear.
Yes I've made some to use as table center pieces. I haven't done a craft sale yet so more peole can see them. I've just sold them on Creigslist. I love you idea tho. Most of them are 3 tiered but are upside down because I thought they would be used outside and didn't want water to gather in them. Thanks for all the nice comments ladies.

  16. How tall do you normally make these? Do people tend to like them all one color?

I've made them in all different colors. Look at my post

"I've gone crazy" No two are ever alike. I've used some of the same dishes or vases but not put them together the same.

I wanted to know about the silicone. Is it in a glue type tube or like you use in the gun for caulking windows? I am not familiar with the brand can you describe it and where did you buy it? I use to like to marry odd pieces of glass but haven't had a lot of luck with the glues holding up, especially outside.
