  2. Leveta, I love the shelf unit. I think sunflower fabric would go great with your new paint. Go for it girl!

That sounds adorable. You can put your mothers cole slaw receipe on it so it will always be near! We did an old ironing board with a 1927 Sears Catalog. All the old underwear and clothes. Very cute. Diane

Oh and I think the other shelf will look great yellow with the sunflower material. Love sunflowers. And daisies.

Make color copies of the calendars so you can save the originals. I always use copies for decoupage

  11. Thanks everyone...I wanted to make sure that was a good ideal before I buy the material. And not just what I think would be cute...Do I need to use spray adhesive? I've never used it before...

I was coming back from a dr's appt this morning and stopped at a local church having a yard sale. They had a metal bookshelf painted a funky blue for $2 - of course, I passed on it b/c I have no place for it. But I did get 6 pairs of old clip on earrings and a pin for $2! The earrings will go on my christmas tree in my spare bedroom - it's my earring tree which I keep up all year long!

I don't leave my tree up all year but at Christmas I have a light blue feather tree I decorate with vintage jewelry and tiny vintage ornaments.
