  2. I did a search on the Yahoo and found some. Also on Ki's blog in the 2008 there are some. They show the line to get in...oh, my gosh there were a lot of people. The Bonanza is 12 weeks from tomorrow! I have 2 shows before the Bonanza...IKES!!! I'd better get busy! Hope you find some pictures.

  3. Last year I shared 2 booths with the Pfarkels (Fjerda posts here). There are pics on my blog here. http://www.emmasnookandgranny.com/2008/09/junk-bonanza-is-over-sniff.html

It was very busy and tons of fun. Wish I would have wandered around and taken pics of all the other booths. Just not enough time!!!

  4. Marge - Your booth was way cool and displayed very good too. I would have spent a lot of time going through all your displays. Great job and good luck this year...too far for me to make the trip though...boo hoo! Jan

  7. Marge...how do you plan for restocking through the three days?

  8. Check out the pic that I posted under Curbside finds. I am not sure what Marge's ansewer is for restocking as she has not committed to a booth yet but the Pfarkel Sisters with Junk {re}defined who she shared space with last year will be there and we just keep extras in the van, car or trailer (so did Marge)and fill in as space is available in the booth.

  9. Hi all. I have been having parent health issues for the last few months so life has been a turmoil and I haven't posted or blogged like I should. We stuffed our booths full and just like Fjerda said, we had reserves in our trailers for restocking. By the end of the 3rd day, we just spread things out more. I was told by veterans of shows of this type to bring in retail dollars 3 times the amount of inventory you want to sell. In other words, if your goal is to sell $1000, bring $3000 worth of stuff.

Our Vintage Treasures Market was awesome. Of course, we all wish we would have sold more, but I think we had a lot of people there for a first time market and for all the vendors I have talked to, sales were very good. Fjerda was thinking she & her sisters needed to go junking to have enough stuff for the Bonanza in Sept! A treat for all of us was when Ki and Kerry stopped. Too bad it was so #$%& hot!

I hope my life belongs to me again by Sept so I can do the Junk Bonanza, too.

  10. Marge, your booth at the bonanza was awsome. It was one of the first ones I saw there and I recognized your name right away, and was glad to meet you. Are you going to be there again this year?

  11. Margo, the Pfarkel Sisters will be there and we are still working on Marge to join us for some of the fun too. Not sure if we will have the Bus this year or not.

  12. Awwww, Margo, that was sooo sweet. One way or another, I am going to be there. I just booked a hotel room, so at least that part is done! Last year was so much fun, I just don't want to miss it this year. It's kind of like Christmas -- part of the excitement is the anticipation! See you in September!!
