Those are just so neat.. Were they hard to make?

They are easy to make once you decide what goes good together. I'm not good at putting the colors together. They are glued together with silicone. I hate seeing the beautiful glass ware going in the land fill. Thanks for your nice comments everyone. I hope I didn't post it in the wrong place.

I will share a wine bottle fountain. May sister and I made this for sister #2 Frannie's BD. The nail keg has been around for many years belonged to my Grandfather, stored in Mom & Dad's garage then became a college class project in 1969!! I turned it into a stool with storage inside. It has been in my basement now as storage for balls, bats, etc. Now it is the base to the fountain where the plastic container for water and pump are. The container at the bottom has rock placed in it first and then wine corks added on top

The bird baths are FANTASTIC and I love the fountains!!! I can't give the birds a swimming spot 'cause my cat moves way faster than one that obese should...
I love the red one though!!!

Fjerda love the fountain. I'd like to figure out how to use the bird baths for a fountain!! Any ideas ladies?

love the bath/fountain....both incredible artwork!! do you have problems with the glass baths falling over if in the grass or do they settle pretty quickly-good?
i'm a real terror near anything glass...i'd be afraid to break it but man they're beautiful!

I use old microwave plates for the base. It is thick and strong. Then add rocks or dirt on top of it and I've never had one fall over yet!!
I love your fountain. What a great idea!!
I'd love to make a fountain out of the glass but haven't come up with an idea yet.
Oh and thanks for your nice comments.Posted 3 years ago # -
The baths look so delicate! I bet they glisten in the sun. You are right; there is a lot mismatched and discarded glass and pottery out there. Uses like these are a great means of still-good-for-something cast offs that may otherwise be headed for a land fill.

I Love both the fountain and the bird bath. I'll bet the birds love them to.
