My cousin is in the process of cleaning out the buildings at the farm she bought from her parents. She invited me to dig through the junk in my uncle's garage workshop and take what I want. Woo hoo - a junker's dream come true! Should be an excellent day!

Here is most what I brought home today. Misc chair parts, chippy chair, ends from the pews that were in my childhood church (2 of the same end so not a complete pew), 4 awesome table legs (I can go back for the table if I want), 1 large and 2 small chick feeders, a 4 pane window, a 3 pane window, a screen, a couple of boxes, 4 horse shoes, a white porcelain bed pan, a purple chair (need a pic of that one!) and parts that are a plant stand. There's more -- I need to go back with the truck for a nice wooden head and foot board that could be an awesome bench, some chippy doors and I forget what else. This is enough for a while. The rest isn't going anywhere.

Holy Moly what great plunder! I really love how the wood in all is so aged and beautiful looking. Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder - my husband would say trash it! We know a good find when we so it though!! Have fun and be sure to post pictures!

Marge will have along with the Pfarkel's have some of these finished items at our Vintage Treasures Market that we are hosting on June 19 & 20. For those of you that want a short shopping vacation, please come for a visit. Marge and I both have information on our blogs. About 12 vendors in addition to ourselves.
