Topic: My Niece's Re-purposed Bench

    My niece found this wobbly bench at the curb and used thrift store belts to weave stability and style into the piece. I think the bench turned out wonderfully! I'm glad she let me share it with you.

  2. I'm glad you shared that - I went curb side shopping and have one that sets with a lean. The wood on mine is pretty bad shape though. I'm wondering what all I could do to make it work. I like the color she painted it too. I just couldn't pass it up on the curb...

  4. Very cool! I have a shabby one outside too that needs new boards. Great idea! I think mine will have to remain an outdoor one tho as I have no more room inside. Love the belts.a new spin on leather!

    I will pass along your compliments. I know she started with a bench that was VERY wobbly. The anchoring of the belts stabilized the bench.
