I recently bought 50 new brown snuff bottles for $2. I am thinking about trying to re-purpose them. I think to hang lots of keys,etc. from raffia tied around the neck might be cute. But, can't figure what their purpose would be. Thought about calling them journal jars, where one could write their thought for the day and fold it up and put it inside. As you can see, I need ideas for both decorating and what their purpose would be.

daisytoad made medicine bottles over....i assume the snuff bottles are similar in size??

MemberCan you show us a picture of one, maybe look on ebay for one like them? I have used small colored jars wraped with wire and beads for sun catchers and painted tiny snowmen on them for ornaments.

MemberJust thought of another idea, you could decorate them and put reed diffuser oil in them. You can buy the refills at Dollar Tree.

For four cents each, I just couldn't pass them up. They are brown and about 4 inches tall. They look just like the old ones.Posted 1 year ago # -
you can also use them for little vases...like add a button flower or something?
