Thanks for sharing something I never would have found on my own.I have my Granddaughters crib and have been wondering what to do with it. Now I have ideas!

  4. I have the headboard and footboard from an old metal crib. They are very ornate pieces. Now, I am inspired to use them in a creative way, instead of letting my roses run on them.

  5. I have parts from two old cribs...just couldn't toss them. I have a third that is vintage/antique and that one will be easy to use but the other two don't have any vintage appeal so harder to try and repurpose. I like the chalk board idea the best.

  12. I just snagged one - I'm trying to decide what to do with it - any tips on painting would be appreciated. Especially black board paint. Mine is probably from the 50s and has old gloss varnish or something on it.

  13. Here's what I used the wire support from a crib for..actually I was using it in my garden as a trellis, I just yoinked it out, sprayed on some matte sealer and used it at my show as a display! If this pic doesn't load, you can see it on my blog www.hopeandjoyhome.blogspot.com I also had an upcycled vintage wooden ladder rack that people kept wanting to buy..and one lady tried to buy my shoes! LOL
