  2. I've seen people fix them to a board and use them as flower pot holders...

I have made some welcome signs on barnwood with horse shoes. I paint a arched welcome with the show centered under it. I have also put some on barnwood with a metal star above the horse shoe. Diana

my mom is an awesome horseshoe player and has won many games...(against men...go mama!!) so, horseshoes have always had a place in our homes and yards...i always keep one turned upside down over our front door to keep in the good luck or so it's said to!!

you could always use them to make stamps on fabric....paint the back and lay flat against or...for a real western look...how about rusting them up and "burning?" the rust image onto fabrics for making articles of clothing, bags, etc....be careful of your own clothing...wear something old cuz it is messy!! good luck!!

I have a napkin holder that my horse loving neighbor made and gave to me. The holder has the rounded parts up and he (welded) the bottoms together with two sort cross pieces of metal. Have fun!

  7. use them as the base for a dream catcher with leather lacing etc. Hang it from the an iron hook somewhere. :) We have 5 horses, lots of horse shoes.

  8. Attached to the sides of a pop crate or other box (open side down), they would make great handles. You could attach some feet, too. Would make a fun serving tray or could be the base for a centerpiece. Have fun!
