These are candlesticks I turned upside down and added a plate to the base for weight so they don't tip over. The cloches are lamp parts turned upside down. Notice the birds inside? I love them and tend to use them a lot.

Oh! I love them!!!!!! I'm going digging for candle sticks now!!! I have my grandmother's birds - so I'm going to use you and your inspiration as my spring centerpiece!!! Thank You!!!

Those are very elegant looking...I may have to try that myself...I just happen to have a number of glass plates lurking around ;^) Thank you for the idea!
I gave RNC a picture the other day where someone had cut the bottom out of big glass bottles and used them for cloches...no knob on top...just the spout of the jug for a handle...t'were quite cute!Posted 4 years ago # -

Hey you Grammies--better be careful. My sister wanted to be called grammy--unfortunately her first grandchild couldn't pronouce it and she became "Mammy"

LOL I like Mammy too...my Mom was to be "Gran" but she ended up being "Gran-mommy" LOLOL Guess the kiddo's figured they should add 2 EXTRA syllables! I will get you some photo's - this is fun!!!
