Topic: It's Yard Sale Time Again!

    At least here in the South, the sun is out and it seems folks must have just been chomping at the bit to have their estate and yard sales because there are a TON this weekend!

    I visited a couple of estate sales today (Friday) and am headed to some yard sales tomorrow.

    Are sales starting up again in your areas?

    Thought it would be fun to start a topic where we can share our Spring sale experiences and pictures of our finds!

    Below is my loot from today...everything for about $115 total. What do ya think?

    I see that there are more garage sales listed for this weekend. It is indeed becoming garage sale season!! I am going to have to train myself to get up early on Friday and Saturday mornings. I am also needing to get ideas on what to get for resale. Still trying to get the hang of it.

    Love your treasure trove! LOL My first thought when I saw the parking meter was if it were me - I'd had to put it by an extemely dead plant! LOL

    Funny SecondHandRosie!

    I went out at 7a this morning and hit several sales with a friend. Found several more treasures! (see picture)

    I'm stocking up for when I open my first booth in a couple weeks :-)

    I love the little green "reading chair". (You can tell that I'm a retired teacher! LOL) It's almost a Jadite green. Would sure be cute in my kitchen with a plant on it. The heck with a kid on it - I'll take a PLANT! LOL

    Drooling over all these yard sales--here had 4" of snow yesterday. Yard sales/Flea Markets still about 6 weeks away but there are still estate sales to attend and thrift stores. I long for walking aisle after aisle for my kind of "junk" and being outside in warm weather. Sorry for rambling but it's been a very long and white winter here and I need some flowers and green grass to look at!

    PS--my granddaughter (Paige) has arrived (3/5/11) and can't wait to take her out "saleing" with me!!

    Congrats granny LuAnn - give her an extra hug and kiss for everybody.

    I haven't seen any garage sales in Indianapolis yet. I have seen a blanket of crocus in the yard at the ugly little cottage. Part of the privacy fence fell over - have to figure out how to re-purpose that now.

    They are starting here, but it's still too cool for me to get out early. I'm a wimp when it comes to cold weather...LOL

    @Maggie - I hate the heat so this summer I'll be the one staying in the a/c and refusing to go out!
