Got these old flashbulbs in a junk box at an auction this past weekend. There are 12 of them. Not sure what to do with them but I think they are pretty and hate to throw them away.

Make a Christmas ornament out of them as someone did for the christmas ornie exchange by wrapping wire around a christmas light bulb. Or just put them in a clear mason jar or bowl for display.

  3. Lovecrafting, I have sold a few boxes of those on Etsy for $7-10 a box so there is a market for them. I believe they are actually being used in the cameras yet. I don't remember if you resell items? If not, I think a garland of them like I made out of old Christmas light bulbs would be neat too. I just picked up a box of flash bulbs at a thrift store the other day. I think they are so cool. I also believe there is a market for them for assemblage artists, again, if you want to resell them.

  6. Leveta - it sure could be fun to do up a whole string of lights looking like those bugs and light up that old screen... Just put that palm tree ladydianab found in the trash nearby... needs an old wash tub full of root beer bottles, too. Oh my, I believe I do have spring fever.

I think I may just put them in an apothecary jar and display them with some old Brownie cameras that I have collected over the years.

What a great idea--thank you. I thought these would look great hanging in the trees in the summer time with the bulb part painted with glow in the dark paint and look like lightning bugs!!

    Thank you again.
