    My sister and I are on the Mabank Christmas Tour this year...we are decorating the school board room. And I am decorating a table, just for fun...not to really eat, as if the board members were having a meal. Our overall theme will be snowy, white, rusty...We had a cloche theme last year. Here is what I've made to hold the silverware. Would love to see some pics of other junky tablescapes and will be posting more about mine, too.

    Love it! See you have the washtub in the background. We're going to use those at my sisters wedding for icing down the drinks. Like the way you pulled all the items together. Very creative. :) Diane

    Thanks, Diane. Yes, I got this washtub last Christmas at Winnie and Talulah's. It is a baby one. They will be great for the wedding!~Lezlee

    Is that an old mason jar lid containing the silverware in that spring?

    yes, it is an old mason car lid...click on name if you want to check it out on my blog. It makes it have a sturdy base, if you wanted to do other things with it.
