I live on a ranch and have been scavenging around. I see alot carcases, such cow, goat, coyote and etc., it's a shame I haven't come across any odeas on how to use them instead of leaving them on the ground. I welcome any ideas. I am new to this site and have enjoyed all the ideas.

Welcome Jayweezy, Somebody was painting deer horns bright pink and said they were selling like crazy. Bleach white and attach the skulls to wood bookends, make a collage on a wall, use as yard garb in your garden. A skull with horns would look good as a jewelry hangar.

How about a windchime type thing...Take the skull and hang bones from it...

jayweezy...really trying to help you out and ran across this site.
don't want to take away from your post...but you all are gonna love what this guy has done with old cassette tapes and lo and behold if skulls weren't the first pic!!
i'll continue to browse in spare time and see if i can help you out. i remember a yr or so back, a show like 20/20, 60 min or ?? ran a feature story on a lady that did turn skull finds into beautiful art...but i can't seem to locate it.

Thank you all for responding with your suggestions. Great ideas.

;-D I paint 'em hot pink - turquoise... and if you have the set of horns - they are cute attached to a silver tray (kind of "head on a platter"... crazy, i know...)! Or - bones are fun in an old metal toolbox - a great mix of textures!

how original Huggy!
My son used to get bones and carve them into tail pieces for fiddles, make knife handles and guitar picsPosted 2 years ago # -
If you check with the auction you will see and remember these are going at an auction price.. but they are getting a nice penny for some of the art and the auction is not over until today at 4:00pm
