This was an old ugly bright brass plant stand. All of the glass shelves were broken. I repainted it using touches of pink and light green with a coat of white over them and then distressed it in places so the green and pink would show through. The new shaelves were plates from my local TS.

That is very cute. It's funny how a little paint can totally change things. The old brass plant stand would be very ordinary. That looks fresh and updated. Very nice!

Wow, you did a great job! This could be used for many things - how tall is it?

It's about 3 feet tall. Not sure yet what I'll use it for. May just end up being a gift.

  13. I'd stack more plates and bowls on it and use it to display my pretty bowls. Great-repurpose.

love this...........of course....it's one of margo's. You are one of my favorites. I browse your site to get me inspired when I am creatively blocked. That's the polite way of saying it........my husband and I say I am creatively constipated here at home when I can't seem to get motivated. LOL

  15. Great job. I'm loving it. Margo has a good idea. I can see a couple of pictures sitting on it and maybe an old doll dressed in pink or green.
