I'm in the midst of creating a flyer to pass out and send around to advertise my upcoming show and would love to see some examples of yours!
Anyone care to share?

You are way too organized!
I made a very simple print out on my computer on a funky green cardstock....mounted it on some fun polka dot orange scrapbook paper -- and that is that.
I ended up having a business card printed with the dates of my Barn Sale -- and another one printed with my blog site to pass out on the day of the sale.
We shall see.....setting my goal as 50 people thru on the weekend and a fairly doable sales goal....we shall see.

Meadow are you getting crazy nervous? I am! I have SO much to do!
Okay here is my draft (final maybe?)Comments? Suggestions?
very cool flyer - find something else to worry about
lol, thanks! I'm just worried I won't have anyone there!
if no one shows up - it is no lack of trying on your part - have a guest book handy or door prize contest for follow up emails, post cards etc. build it up over time
My brother just pointed out that I don't have a location on the flyer!! sigh, that would be a good reason for a poor turnout! lol
That is a fabulous flyer --- you absolutely need to add a location -I, for one, want to know where this great sale is happening.
As for me -- I am a tad n-e-r-v-o-u-s!! We have had to do so much work to get the hayloft ready and we are now finally loading it. But, my regular full time job and weekend work at the mall I sell at is just getting in the way --- not to mention 4 barn kittens, a woodchuck that decided to burrow next to my house ------ you know, stuff.
I look forward to the day of, opening the door and letting what will be happen.

I have a sale coming up next week-end too - I'm looking forward to the day AFTER and am hoping I have nothing to put away... You are right the regular job sure does get in the way of doing fun stuff. I've been so busy with work and extra work so far this summer I haven't had time to do much of anything else. In the spare time, we did take care of about 30 quarts of tomatoes, froze about 30 bags of green beans, made a few pickles and a ton of zucchini casseroles... the green peppers were a disappointment and we are up to our ears in acorn squash. The garden is finally played out so now it needs to be tended to get it ready for next year. The yard needs a lot of work too... It all sure does get in the way of having fun... LOL
At least DH is back to work and feeling pretty good.
Daisy People will be there. They always are esp. when it's something new. Are you having refreshments? You may want to add that to flyer. I love the colors in it...I'm excited for you... And the others...
