I know you can make your own iron ons using transfer paper but the paper seems to be pretty expensive. Does anyone out there know of a way to make your own without having to go get the expensive paper?

  2. I bought mine from Michael's in a 10 pack (I think). I waited til it was on sale, or maybe I used the flyer coupon, or an off brand, but it worked out to about $1.00 per sheet. But by planning carefully (I'm very cheap), I was able to use my design on just half the paper then run it through again for a design on the other half. THEN I cut the transfer sheet in half, so I got 2 for the price of 1 -- or 50 cents for each design. If you'd don't have too big of a design, maybe this could make it a little more worthwhile.

P.S. That's how I made the shirt in my profile photo.

i thought I had seen somewhere that there is a way to do the iron ons without buying transfer paper. I am hoping someone out there might know if it is possible. Thanks for the idea of using 1 sheet to make more than 1 print though. The project I want to do requires large prints so I would only be able to get 1 per sheet.
