Bought a lot of about sixty of them on e-bay the other day. They're all about the same size - about 2X3 inches. Some of them are pretty faded but a lot of them are still in good shape.
Any ideas for what to do with them? TIA

(long ago some one posted about finding mini frames for things this size...honestly can't remember the name it's under, tho...maybe try the search?)
i was thinking they'd make beautiful collage pieces in a small shadow box. could try something with vintage looking items around?
if that small what about set in old silverware spoon bowls and set in resin like some already shown on here?
would it be possible to flatten out the bowls and bend into a bracelet or necklace, adhere the pic and antique the spoon with some type stain and poly over to seal? if regular spoon not big enough i think a necklace from a serving spoon would be awesome looking!!
I saw this blog had done something cool with vintage photos

Thanks, everybody. Enjoyed the site, Copperhead.
I am ssssssooooooo jazzed up! I just got back from my favorite haunt - Goodwill Outlet! I found a big old album Full of 1945+- pictures. They are so cool - I need to figure out what to do with them. Some are boring some are really just too cute and some are plain old 1945 COOL. Even the album cover is cool. My biggest gripe is they taped some of the pictures and glued others no acid free paper here. My hubby just shakes his head who cares - it's just old pictures. I could look at that stuff all day and see something new every time I'm sure. I have figured out how to get pictures off my camera and on to the computer. I wish I could figure out how to get pictures from my computer on to here - there are some just so cute I would love to share.
I open my pics in Microsoft Picture it. Under file I have a "save a copy for" option. I can save a copy for email or web. I choose email because the file size is smaller... Don't know it this helps you or not.... I would love to see your pics...

Believe me I try - here is my problem - when I try to send them ANYWHERE this box comes up with this:
"The host 'SMTP' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: 'POP3', Server: 'SMTP', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D"
I can't seem to get past that...
I did get some pictures on the computer - they might look better if they were scanned.
I am not sure why you are getting that message.... I would so love to see those pictures... It makes you wonder who would donate a photo album of precious memories...
