<description>&#60;p&#62;Hey there. How is your booth going today? I think since you posted here your booth has been open for a few months right? Is it what you thought it would be??&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I looked at your blog and see the last post dated September 4th....are you no longer keeping the blog alive? I found having a blog was like having a necessary 'tool' that helps to build-up followers as well as advertisement as your blog is open 24/7 so people from all over the globe can find you. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I too am thinking about mall space....&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Hope things are going great for you!!&#60;br /&#62;

<description>&#60;p&#62;That's a lot of money for a month! You would have to turn over a lot of inventory to cover that.

<description>&#60;p&#62;Hi Everyone,&#60;br /&#62;
Just found this site while digging through tons of info on booths at an antique mall...I opened my first thrift store back in 2000.I've always been a nurse but I needed a break.My sister is and always has been a hoarder of everything,lol but not like the tv hoarders.She had 2 storage spaces rented and was packed,She would have yard sales to make extra money.So we decided to open a store.I had just moved from the city to the mtns.I found a reasonable store and a friend and my self went to work putting up shelfs,buying racks etc.Then my sister started bringing truck loads of her valubles.The first day we opened(and until that day had never used a cash reg and had to keep reading the directions),any way we made enough the first day to pay our months rent.We were giddy and felt like this was a gold mine.I had always loved yard sales and thrift stores and lord,the donations kept coming.Then the worst hit us.our landlord went bankrupt and we had to move out in 2 weeks notice.Everything that could go wrong,did.I want give you all the bad stuff but now a friend is sorta pushing me to open a booth at aaan antique mall.I live in a quaint tourist town full of small shops and 3 big stores with antique booths.I have alot of pretty stuff but I don't know alot about antiques.I do have a few and the owner says we can have antiques and collectors items but I'm scared to make that commitment the rent is $275 a month and I would have to sign a lease for a yr.My daughter has a booth at a flea market that is just getting started but she has been patient and it is now paying off.She is trying to encourage me.I am thinking maybe consigning with her.I just really don't know what would be best.So here I am,reading all of your blogs,reading advice and now have a storage room full of stuff.lol Thanks for reading.I've enjoyed reading blogs today.I don;t have one yet but I'll be around this site.I just love the ideas here.Annette

<description>&#60;p&#62;Hi. After 17 years of being a stay-at-home Mom, I have opened a&#60;br /&#62;
brick and mortar shop which offers all things repurposed, reclaimed, and recycled. Furnishings, home decor, and gifts.&#60;br /&#62;
I am now on line a patinainpaducah.com and am wondering if anyone has marketing tips for me. Thanks and Blessings, Robin

<description>&#60;p&#62;i have just 'openend' it and have no real info yet. It's JunktiqueBoutique.blogspot.com. Eventually I would like to add photos of finished projects and have them for sale. I have sold a few projects that I refurbished, but for very little, as I sold them at a friend's yard sale. Thanks for looking!

<description>&#60;p&#62;I too am in the process of starting a blog, but am no tekkie and have put the word out in my area for HELP! I strive to be a little like the old painted cottage, which is my inspiration and when/how I met/fell in love with cottage/chic/shabby and all! I love, love, love it. I hope that when I grow up someday I can be like Ki and all the other ladies who have taken the plunge to retail their treasures. I would love to travel, finding treasures and finds. All the Best to you!

<description>&#60;p&#62;My friend and I took the plunge and opened a booth in an antique mall last February.  It is okay although we wish the mall we were located in had more general traffic during the week.  The traffic picks up on weekends, but weekdays are slow.  &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Just in the last few days we have started a blog about the trials and tribulations of our booth opening.  Our blog is thefrontporch2.wordpress.com.  We only have one post on it so far and we are not techies, so we have some work to do on our widgets and additional pages, but we have gotten a few views.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;We would appreciate any suggestions or comments on our blog. Take a look !
